The John W. Barco Alumni Chapter of the Virginia Union University National Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) organization. The Chapter was first chartered during fiscal year 1942 - 1943 and currently consists of alumni who reside in the Richmond and the surrounding areas, as well as friends of the University who wish to assist the Chapter in fulfilling its goals and purposes.
